Where You Can Find The Best Pie in Dallas

Do you enjoy a sweet treat after lunch or dinner?

If so, head to one of the following restaurants where a slice of pie is the perfect end to any meal:

Norma’s Cafe

Since 1956, Norma’s Cafe has been a local institution for home cooking. The restaurant’s motto is “Life is Short, Eat Dessert First,'” and it’s renowned for its made-from-scratch Mile-High pies. Everyone who walks through the doors enjoys a trip back in time, and Norma’s helps the community by feeding the hungry on Thanksgiving and by offering a Texas Chicken Fried Steak Day Bus Tour that has raised nearly $60,000 for the North Texas Food Bank and the Dallas Stars Foundation. On the menu, guests find several pie flavors including coconut, lemon, and chocolate peanut butter.

Zenzero

Zenzero cherishes the art of cultivating community, and boasts that its environment is where families can gather, strangers can connect, and friends can create. Owner Ginger Blazek became passionate about baking and cooking at a young age, and she earned a degree in pastry arts from the Culinary School of Fort Worth. Zenzero (pronounced ZEHN-zeh-roh) is Italian for ginger, and the restaurant comes complete with dim lighting and dozens of photographs. Pies include cherry, apple caramel, and strawberry jalapeno.

Celebration

For nearly fifty years, Celebration has served freshly prepared food in a comfortable atmosphere. Guests always receive attentive service, and they can spend their time inside or on the patio featuring a fountain and stone fireplace. The chefs prepare the menu offerings using the best ingredients, and the chocolate and coconut cream pies are made daily with a graham cracker crust.
