Martial arts classes offer fun, high-aerobic workouts that can help improve your strength, flexibility, and muscle tone. So whether you want to learn karate, jiu-jitsu, or another style, Dallas martial arts classes can help. The studios near our Dallas high-rise apartments include:
Dallas Academy of Martial Arts
A Highland Park fixture since 1980, the Dallas Academy of Martial Arts offers classes that are challenging yet fun. The instructors help students meet their martial arts goals. You can advance at your own pace and will learn new skills sure to have you moving unlike ever before. Adult group classes take place Monday through Thursday, and you can also enjoy private lessons upon request.
Pro Martial Arts
At Pro Martial Arts, you’ll learn techniques drawn from tae kwon do and other Korean martial arts. Program Director Tom Uhrik is currently working towards a black belt. He encourages students to do the same and keeps the classes fresh and exciting. The lessons help students build confidence as they hone their athletic skills in a high-energy environment. In between classes, the studio’s on-demand videos can help keep you moving.
Alex Martins Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy
Better known as Alex Martins BJJ, the academy welcomes both total beginners and seasoned martial artists. It’s a place where strangers become friends and connect with the community. No matter your experience level, the classes will help improve your speed and flexibility. In addition, you’ll learn skills like throws and submission techniques, and will leave class knowing you got the most out of your workout. Sessions are offered Monday through Friday with open mat on Saturdays. If you’re a first-time student, be sure to ask about the free trial.
If martial arts classes aren’t for you, stay active when you enjoy a day of kayaking on a Dallas lake. To become a resident of One Dallas Center, please contact us. Our leasing team will show you firsthand all that our apartments in downtown Dallas have to offer.Back to all posts
