Check out the best water parks located a short drive from our Downtown Dallas luxury apartments

Bahama Beach

Less than a 20-minute drive to Bahama Beach, you can spend all day floating around the lazy river, zipping down the slides, and relaxing in the pool under waterfalls for only $15. Rent private shaded cabanas, and if you’re feeling fancy, pack a yummy picnic lunch. You can bring in small coolers with drinks and food. However, glass bottles are prohibited. You also have the option to check out the concession stand for your favorite food and drinks.

Epic Waters

Just half an hour away, Epic Waters, an indoor and outdoor park, is open year-round. Day passes cost $34 Monday through Thursday and between $44 and $59 the rest of the week. You’ll get your thrills on rides like Prairie Plunge and Texastwist. Practice surfing on the Flow Rider or fall through the trap door on America’s tallest indoor AquaLoop. There’s also a huge outdoor wave pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Outside food is not permitted, but the café offers everything from salads to burgers and pizza. There’s also a bar that serves beer and cocktails.

You’ll drive about 45 minutes to get to WhoaZone, but you’ll have plenty to do at Lake Grapevine. There are two different passes you can buy for the floating obstacle course. On a weekday, you can play for an hour for $18. If you want to stay all day, it will cost you $45. Weekend tickets cost slightly more. You can also play yard games or sit under a shaded umbrella.
